IELTS Speaking Part 3

Ielts Speaking Part 3

It is the best to practice for IELTS Speaking Part 3 by having someone read you the questions below. If you do not have a partner to work with, read the questions below yourself, and record your answers on a phone/computer. Try to give full answers (4-5 sentences) for each question.

Listen to your recording. How would you rate yourself according to the four criteria (fluency, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation)?
Remember, the examiner is only interested in your level of English, not whether or not you agree or disagree on a specific issue. You do not have to express your real opinion in order to show how well you make a point. However, expressing your real opinion might make the task easier.

Sample Task

Let’s talk about living in a big city:
Do you think living in a big city is better than living in a small town?[Why?] What are some of the advantages of living in a big city?
Would you agree that life in a big city can be too crowded and too expensive? [Why/ Why not?]
