Question 1: Have you graduated or are you still studying?
Sample Answer
At the moment, I’m still an undergraduate at the University of Technology and Education, majoring in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, or TESOL for short. Also, even though I’m still a student, I’ve already taken a part-time job as an English tutor for young learners.

Question 2: Can you tell me something about your education?
Sample answer
Well, from 6 to 10, I went to a nearby primary school in my neighborhood. In the following four years, I continued to attend a local secondary school, and then took an entrance exam to Nguyen Huu Huan High School, which is a rather prestigious school in Ho Chi Minh City. After spending 3 years there, I became a student an English-majored student at the University of Technology and Education. Now, I’m a junior at the mentioned institution.

Question 3: What do you like most about your studies?
Sample answer
Personally, one of the most fascinating aspect in my field is that I can work with learners from various age groups and backgrounds to help them improve their proficiency in English. Also, being able to use a foreign language is a highly sought-after qualification in the current labor market, so I feel like I am helping my students increase their chances of earning their dream jobs.

Question 4: Do you think what you have learned at college is beneficial to your future career?
Sample answer
Certainly, yes. Although various parts in the program are theoretical, other aspects are really practical when it comes to conducting and organizing the English teaching – learning process. For example, I’ve learned how to create comprehensible lessons and dynamic learning environments with games and activities. Also, for me, seeing that my learners are gradually improving is beneficial and satisfactory enough.
