STRATEGIES
Step 1: Be prepared to make a good impression from the moment you enter the room.
Step 2: Maintain eye contact with the examiner and be mindful of your body language.
Step 3: Practice answering questions about familiar topics (people, places, things, activities, etc.).
LIST TOPICS
The list of topics is not complete and every year more topics are introduced into Part One.
IELTS SPEAKING TIPS
Don’t memorize answers to Speaking questions. Even though some topics come up frequently, you should answer spontaneously and imaginatively.
If the examiner thinks you are giving a memorized answer, you will receive a very low mark.
SAMPLE TASK
TOPIC 1. NEIGHBORS

TOPIC 2. TIME

2. Can you think of any situations where it is acceptable to be late?
3. How do your friends organize their time (i.e. Do they make a diary?)?
