Cụm giới từ là gì?

Theo Cambridge Dictionary, cụm giới từ bao gồm một giới từ và các từ theo sau nó (hay còn gọi là bổ ngữ). Bổ ngữ đa phần sẽ là cụm danh từ, đại từ, cụm trạng từ, động từ ở dạng V-ing hay ít phổ biến hơn là một cụm giới từ hoặc mệnh đề danh ngữ (Wh-clause). 

Ví dụ: Cụm in đậm là cụm giới từ

• They first met at a party. (= preposition + noun phrase)
• She’s decided on doing a Chinese language course. (= preposition + -ing clause)

 

Dấu hiệu nhận biết và cách làm bài dạng cụm giới từ trong TOEIC

Dấu hiệu nhận biết: Nếu 4 phương án mà đề bài cho đều là giới từ hoặc phía sau đáp án cần điền là động từ dạng V-ing hoặc cụm danh từ thì khả năng cao đây là dạng bài cụm giới từ trong TOEIC. 

Cách làm bài dạng cụm giới từ trong TOEIC: Các bạn cần rèn luyện kỹ năng dịch nhanh các ý trước và sau chỗ trống nhằm tiết kiệm thời gian và làm bài có hiệu quả hơn. Đồng thời cần trang bị một số cụm giới từ hay gặp trong TOEIC, bên dưới là một số gợi ý cho các bạn tham khảo.
