Answer
The family member that I idolize is my beloved mother. Of course, as the title suggests, she is the one who brought me into this world and my closest person in the world.
As far as I can remember, she used to be an executive in a French pharmaceutical firm, and she had worked there for over 20 years. Due to the influence from the characteristics of her work, my mother still leads a very disciplined lifestyle, and she even passes that down to me.
Now, she is full-time mother and home-cook, and also, she is taking up the job of a landlord.
Moreover, it may sound a little bizarre for a man to idolize his mother, but there are some certain reasons for me to adore and respect my mother so much.
First of all, from my point of view, she is like the Wonder Woman, who can literally do anything. Because my father had passed away when I was young, she had to take up the responsibilities of both parents, namely cooking, teaching and bringing home the bacon.
Second of all, she has sacrificed too much, even her own happiness. My widowed mother has stayed single ever since and become a single-parent to raise me even though she could get remarried rather easily.
Lastly, and more importantly, multiple values I know today generally come from her. For instance, she always tells me to never give up and not to complain whenever ending in failures. All her lessons make me who I am today.
